The POR routes on Saturday included a substantial amount of off-road riding along forestry tracks which was challenging for all levels, and the PTV course on Sunday flowed nicely from start to finish, with riders saying it was an enjoyable course to ride. We are very grateful to all the judges who answered our call and volunteered their time and services for the POR phase on Saturday and for the MA/PTV phases on Sunday, and also to everyone who helped set up the course on Friday. There can be no event without competitors or judges, stewards and helpers - thank you all. Our thanks to the officials and organisers of the event: Adèle Connor (Technical Delegate, Judge), Frances Whooley (Traceur, Judge), Siobhán Wolf (Chef de Piste), Megan Davies (Assistant TD, MA Electronic Timing Steward); Jill Davies (Event Secretary, Scorer). Special thanks to the Mulcahy family for the use of their facilities at Boulta as the main venue for the whole event (from Friday through to Sunday), to Patrick Joyce in Ballyknock for allowing us to run the POR on Saturday from his farm. We would also like to thank Ryall O'Mahony (Watergrasshill) and O'Brien's Saddlery (Bandon) for donating items for some of the prizes, to Kearney's of Tallow for the delicious food for our Saturday Social Evening Meal, and to Spar Rathcormac for lunch rolls/wraps. Yvonne Harrington took some lovely photographs of the riders and horses during the MA and PTV phases on Sunday (thank you Yvonne) and you can message her via her Facebook page if you want to purchase any of the photos: https://yvonneharrington.smugmug.com/EQUESTRIAN/TREC/WEST-CORK-TREC https://www.facebook.com/yvonne.harrington.7739
