We would like to thank the following:
  • Our venue hosts - the Bastian family in Glengarriff and the Whooley family in Knockraha
  • The event officials - Gwen Bastian as Technical Delegate for the MA/PTV XL, Bastian as Chef de Piste for the MA/PTV XL and as Techncial Delegate for the POR, Elaine Dolan-Crowley as Traceur for the POR, and Jill Davies as Event Secretary and Scorer
  • The riders - for travelling with their horses and competing at the different venues; and not only were riders competing in Glengarriff but many had to help us judge obstacles as well during the day
  • The volunteers and helpers - we are always so very grateful to all the volunteers who travelled to one or both of the different locations and gave us their time to help out and fulfilling roles such as judges, stewards, and helpers - all for a filled roll or sandwich and a bottle of water or two
  • The landowners - many thanks to the numerous landowners for allowing riders access to and across their lands giving them some off-road riding during the POR

Finally we would like to thank the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and the National Lottery for the funding we received under the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme Grant which allowed us to purchase some of the much needed items of equipment that could be seen in use during the two days of event.
