We would like to welcome Trec North - the newest group to be affiliated to TREC Ireland.
Here is what the group says about themselves: "Trec North is a newly formed Trec group which has members from Donegal to Down and everything between. We intend offer training events and competitions designed to encourage first-time Treccies and also challenge our more seasoned Treccies. We welcome new members and encourage anyone interested in finding out more to email us at TrecNorth@gmail.com". Being at opposite ends of the island, West Cork TREC and Trec North are the furthest apart of all the TREC Ireland groups, but maybe we might meet at a few competitions in the middle someday, and we look forward to hearing many stories and seeing plenty of photos from them.

Thanks for your kind message and welcome. We are from opposite of the country, all right. But we perhaps we share a special understanding of challenges in common from being located so far away from the middle. And, as you say, we did meet in the middle, last week. I thoroughly enjoyed Deer Park and was impressed with the degree of group cooperation and effort from every single club. That's one of my favourite things about Trec Ireland spirit and it bodes well for events to come. Leave a Reply. |
